Mr. Wallace received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982 from Davidson College, and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden in 1985. During law school, Mr. Wallace spent a summer as a judicial intern for the Honorable John F. Gerry, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. After law school, Mr. Wallace served a judicial clerkship in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Camden County, for the Honorable E. Stevenson Fluharty. In his first 10 years of private practice, Mr. Wallace exclusively handled defense litigation matters for self-insureds and insurance carriers. A substantial majority of that time was spent at the firm of Capehart & Scatchard, P.A. in Mount Laurel, NJ, where Mr. Wallace developed an expertise in railroad law, handling grade crossing, trespasser and Federal Employer Liability Act cases.
Mr. Wallace was admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 1985. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Camden County and New Jersey State bar associations, as well as the New Jersey Association for Justice .
